I'll have the JD burger

This is music from Jonathan Demme's Something Wild and music I found through that music:
Not on the soundtrack or in the movie at all but I found it while looking this stuff up:
I guess this one is in Countryman also:
There's a cover of Ever Fall In Love by Fine Young Cannibals but the original is better so here's a link to the mp3 by the Buzzcocks:
The Feelies are the band during the high school reunion part of the film but I didn't feelies like putting there stuff on here, you can look it up if you feelies like it.
This is kinda corny but this woman has style out her wazoo!
This wasn't in the movie:
This wasn't in the movie and wasn't by any of the artists on here but it's dancehall and it's also got a kick ass video, this dude is extremely well dressed:

2 songs about m33ting in the bathroom

These songs are written by 23-year-olds from different walks of urban life. These artists share not only a common experience, but also an ability to harness the energy of the youth in music and lyrics.

I Hope No One Heard that

I can't keep up with wikipedia entry of the day so it's not happening anymore. In other news; a friend showed me this video of Drake being reasonably upset at the lack of tuna sandwiches he has:
The best part is his disheartened, "I'm tired..."

Monday through Sunday - Gunplay

I know that this blog has already had a few Maybach posts, but that's what I'm into these days, so deal with it. But yo! Damn! Check out Gunplay! Like a more aggressive Juvenile who looks like he's real into coke blunts:
Make sure you catch the stripper who drops from the ceiling.

Meek Again

Yo. I forgot to put this in the Meek Mill zip file from that earlier post:

Young Savage

Heard this guy on the Cosmic Kev show over the summer. He went off the dome for 20 minutes. Vicious. Here's the video for that:
Now that you're impressed, check out this awesome danceable track:
Now peep his internet reality show. Sometimes its corny but I think still worth the watch:

Do the Right Sing

I was looking up information on Earnest Dickinson, a cinematographer/director who is best known for his work with Spike Lee. There was this interview I found with him from the early 90's that focussed on his then recent foray into directing. Somewhere in the article included a list of his directing credits, this was one of them:
Real weird.

Vincent

A Tim Burton short piece from 1982, about a boy with a dark imagination.

WHHS Show

Doors at 5:00PM
$5-7
@ Haverford High School

If you live around Philadelphia you should go to this show. My friend's awesome band The Skin Cells are playing. They're a bunch of teenagers who love them some of the Modest Mouse.

I'll Give You Fish

The B-52's "Give Me Back My Man" off their album Wild Planet. Pretty good album, it's got "Private Idaho" and "Dirty Back Road" on it as-well.

Meek

To clarify, I like Rick Ross. Just made a zip file of my favorite Meek Mill tracks from before he signed to Maybach Music. Also put in a Bmore Remix I did for Rose Red a while back. Download it all here Look at how cute he is in this video:
